Goal

Creating an aggregator of up-to-date market information about any construction materials, and giving a tool to comprehensively overview the nationwide market and supply the end customer with cost-effective options.

Solution

We set up a system of the regular automated collection of updatable and trustworthy data from providers. Competo provides the dashboards for real-time tracking and overview of collected prices and items. The intellectual system designed during the project controls the existence of duplicate-data and notify the user of the data merger. Eventually, the time of the end client’s search for an appropriate construction material price dropped from several hours to several minutes.

Features

Competo scrapes 70+ e-commerce websites of construction material providers and gathers all the results in the database. Users can input parameters for search and get a list of different price options. Besides, we worked out predictive analysis techniques to forecast purchasing powers and interests.
